8 25‐Nov‐19 Please extend the date for bid opening until 14 days after the government provides the responses to inquiries.
The bid opening date has been revised to 09 December. 0003
9 25‐Nov‐19 Would it be possible to consult the contract award date? We would like to have preparation time before receiving the award since 150 days are not enough for both preparation and construction work.
No. Contract award date will be dependent upon Government operational needs.
10 25‐Nov‐19 We would like to request changing the construction duration from 150 days to 210 days. The lead time for personnel DBIDS cards is about 30 days, for flightline access permit and digging permit is about 30 days, for arranging escorts and competent personnel is about 30 days. Also, the work days will be limited due to airfield nighttime operation (5 days/month), adverse weather (4 to 5 days/month), and concrete curing. We are able to work only about 10 days in each month. We need at least 40 work days which means it will take about 4 months (120 days) to complete on‐site work. Therefore, we would like to request extending the construction duration for 60 days.
The construction period is changed from 150 working days to 180 calendar days.
