Per the statement of work date March 20th, 2025, it states to change the chiller's oil and filters based off of run time or manufacturers recommended intervals. Since there were no previous maintenance records provided in the statement of work, are we to assume all 9 chillers will need the oil and filters replaced in this contract?
The government's intent for this purchase order is to have the filters changed on all applicable units. Oils sampled and assessed for possible replacement. The 4 magnetic bearing chillers do not require oil or filters.
14 4/2/2025
Per the statement of work date March 20th, 2025, it states the contractor will provide all applicable OEM software needed to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to the listed chiller. “Chiller Technicians must be able to complete all programing and reprograming for repairs and upgrades to the equipment.” Is there specific software upgrades that are required in this contract. Software upgrades are typically not part of a preventive maintenance of a chiller and can only be provided by the factory authorized representative. Only factory authorized representatives can perform programing or reprograming to a chiller. Is there specific programing or reprograming required in this contract?
The government's intent for this purchase order, during the process of preventative maintenance, if repairs are necessary, any software programming needed in conjunction with repairs, as required to return the chiller unit to full operation.
