About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) from the Navy for fastener manufacturing, utilizing a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method. The solicitation requires vendors to email quotes to Ina Nason at ina.nason.civ@us.navy.mil and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Vendors must demonstrate technical capability by providing Non-Destructive Testing/Coating procedures, evidence of compliance with quality requirements (MIL-I-45208 or ISO 9001/9002), and past performance documentation of at least three relevant projects within the last five years. The Navy seeks a vendor who can meet a 45-week delivery schedule for manufacturing fasteners according to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Fastener Program Manual, with evaluation criteria including technical capability, delivery schedule, price, and past performance. Vendors will be rated as either "Acceptable" or "Unacceptable" across these categories, and the government will award the contract to the vendor offering the best value.
