About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations document issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration for service contracts in California County of San Diego, effective December 3, 2025 (Wage Determination No. 2015-5635, Revision 29).
The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract employees across numerous occupational categories, ranging from administrative support and clerical positions (e.g., Accounting Clerk I at $21.65/hour) to specialized technical and professional roles (e.g., Registered Nurse IV at $63.99/hour, Nuclear Medicine Technologist at $75.09/hour). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly, or $222.00 weekly/$962.00 monthly), plus 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of service, 3 weeks after 5 years, and 4 weeks after 15 years. Employees are entitled to a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. The determination applies to federal Service Contract Act awards made on or after January 1, 2017, and is subject to Executive Order 13706 (paid sick leave) and Executive Order 13658 (minimum wage of $13.30/hour, adjusted annually). Special provisions apply to computer professionals (footnote 1), air traffic controllers and weather observers requiring night and Sunday pay differentials (footnote 2), and positions involving hazardous materials work (4-8% differentials). A uniform allowance of $3.35 per week is required where applicable. The wage determination includes procedures for contractor requests to classify unlisted occupational positions via Standard Form 1444.
