SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

AMENDMENT 0002 PPI & RESPONSES

1. Will the Government provide any insurance on the leased vehicles for theft or liability since the Government will be operating the leased vehicles with their own drivers?

a. Please refer to Section 4.1

2. Will the Government consider allowing staggered delivery of the leased vehicles? All vehicles would be delivered within 60 days.

a. Staggered delivery will not be allowed.

3. Can the US Government provide a comparison image of their preferred brand name or equal vehicle that they are seeking under each vehicle category? This would be helpful if possible.

a. Vehicle images cannot be provided.

4. 8-Passenger Van and 15 Passenger Van have gross weights exceeding most normal highway passenger vans. At Gross vehicle weight rating (lb): 9,000 - 13,000, these weights suggest the USG is looking for a small Bus, rather than a Van. Can the USG please comment – or provide their comparison image of their preferred brand name or equal vehicle that they are seeking under each vehicle category?

a. See revised vehicle specification sheets included with Amendment 0002.

5. Large military troop transport vehicles – which appears to be what the USG may be requiring for movements within Somalia – generally are manual gearbox vehicles. As the USG may be actually requiring a bus – rather than a Van – based on the gross weights suggested within the specification for the 8 and 15 passengers, would the USG consider changing the specification from automatic to Manual gear box for these two vehicle categories?

a. See revised vehicle specification sheets included with Amendment 0002.

SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET
