16. Description: THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quote or proposal and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The solicitation will be a Fixed-Price (FP) single award Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) for mineral base oils only. The period of performance will be 27 August 2024 – 26 August 2034 (estimated). Military Sealift Command (MSC) requires Worldwide Lubrication Program for lubricants and related engineering support services. The Government is contracting for products and services, in addition to availability and delivery of these products and services on a worldwide basis within specific time constraints defined by the planned contract. The Contractor shall provide products and services for MSC and United States Ship (USS) Navy ships and any other Government-owned or Government-chartered ships designated by MSC. Services under the scope of the planned contract include technical evaluation and troubleshooting services concerning lubrication-related problems.
