This pre-solicitation notice is for a requirements-type contract to provide genomic characterization services to the National Cancer Institute's Center for Cancer Genomics. The National Institutes of Health will award up to ten indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts across three pools for DNA, RNA, and protein characterization. Incumbents currently perform the work through subcontracts awarded by the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research operated by Leidos Biomedical Research. The solicitation will require receipt of biomaterials from Biospecimen Processing Centers, operation of characterization pipelines, quality control, informatics and data delivery support, and transition activities. The contract value is unrestricted and not set aside for small businesses. The request for proposal is scheduled for release on November 20, 2018 with proposals due February 18, 2019. The potential five-year IDIQ contracts are expected to be awarded by July 31, 2019.
