Statement of Work
Upgrade of Existing Projection & Control System for Building 2115, Classrooms 1 & 5
1. BACKGROUND:
As part of the Installation Deployment Readiness Cell’s (IDRC’s) personnel deployment line, these classrooms are used to provide pre- and post-deployment briefings to Air Force and/or Navy personnel. The rooms are also used periodically throughout the year by base entities to provide instructional courses, leadership training and commander’s calls.
2. SCOPE:
The 647 LRS Department seeks a Contractor to provide equipment, labor and training to upgrade the current projector system in Building 2115, Classroom 1 and to upgrade the current projector & control system in Building 2115, Classroom 5.
3. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
The Contractor shall provide the following:
Classroom 1:
a) All new material listed on Attachment 1 – Material List
b) Contractor will mount a shelf onto the rear pegboard-lined wall located in classroom’s audiovisual room, then mount the projector with associated lens onto the shelf (see Attachment 2 – Photos for photographs of existing layout of Classroom 1 & 5).
c) Once the projector is operational, Contractor will provide up to 30-minutes of hands-on technical training on the use & functions of the projector to eight Air Force and/or Navy personnel.
Classroom 5
a) All new material listed on Attachment 1 – Material List
b) Contractor will remove existing ceiling-mounted projector and replace with new projector and associated lens, reusing in-place high definition medial interface (HDMI) cable and mount (see Attachment 2 – Photos for photographs of existing layout of Classroom 1 & 5).
c) Contractor will modify existing Extron control system with associated 7” touchscreen panel to recognize two computer sources, leave motorized screen down when shutting down the system, and integrate new microphone system.
d) Contractor will install and integrate new power sequencer and microphone system.
e) Contractor will design and provide two printed copies and one digital version of custom operational manual.
f) Once the projector and control system is operational, Contractor will provide up to 30-minutes of hands-on technical training on the use & functions of the projector & control system to eight Air Force and/or Navy personnel.
4. QUALIFICATIONS:
All work shall be done by licensed and/or certified personnel.
5. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
8 weeks after date of contract award
