The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, test equipment, and technical expertise to inspect and maintain equipment in accordance with OEM manuals, NAVSUP Publication 538, and applicable regulations. Minimum inspection requirements include structural components and weldments, forks, masts, chains, and lifting mechanisms, hydraulic systems, braking and steering systems, electrical systems and safety devices, tires and wheels, and required labels and markings. The contractor must conduct operational testing to verify lifting, lowering, steering, braking, and emergency stop functionality, then lubricate, adjust, and service components as required. All discrepancies shall be documented in Condition Found Reports (CFRs) with equipment identification, description, and recommended corrective action; corrective repairs are addressed under separate authorization. The contractor's personnel shall embark with the vessel and remain onboard for the duration necessary to complete work, then disembark at the next available port of call as coordinated with MSC and Ship's Force. All inspections and maintenance must be performed by qualified, certified, or trained service representatives. Inspection results and individual equipment reports shall be submitted electronically in PDF format to the OMT Representative, along with a summary report identifying operational status of all equipment. The contractor is responsible for removing all debris and restoring work areas to a clean and safe condition. No government-furnished equipment, materials, or services are provided.
