About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing clarifications for Solicitation N00244-26-Q-S023, a Request for Quotation for ceremonial flight suit uniforms for the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (NFDS). The document does not address specific product requirements or pricing terms but rather provides technical specifications and measurement clarifications necessary for vendors to construct sample flight suits as part of their quotations. Key clarifications include confirmation that this is a new and distinct requirement (distinct from previous contract N6883625PS106, which was smaller in scope), specific height measurements for the two required sample suits (Supply Officer at 78 inches and Public Affairs Officer at 65 inches), and detailed definitions of measurement methodologies including collar-to-waist (39 inches for SUPPO, 30 inches for PAO), and hip measurement (43.5 inches for SUPPO). The government clarified that the natural waist measurement was used rather than pant waist, and referenced exhibits A and B for additional torso and spine measurements for each individual.
