3.8 Guideline for taking finished measurements. All circumference measurements are taken from folded edge to folded edge with the garment laying flat. (This may not be seam to seam.)

A. The chest is taken at the level of the junction of the underarm seam.

B. The hip measurement is taken on the center seam of the lower back of the garment at a level 7-1/2 inches for a short, 8-1/2 inches for a regular and 9-1/2 inches for a long; down from the bottom of the back belt casing.

C.

Sleeve inseam taken from the junction point of the underarm sleeve seam and the side seam straight down the seam to the hem edge. (Both sleeve inseams shall be measured.)

D.

Front length is taken on the straight line of the center front from the neck to the crotch point. (To the top of the double lapped inseam.)

E. The leg inseam is taken from the center of the beaded edges to the bottom of the hem. (Both leg inseams shall be measured.)

F. The thigh measurement is taken in a horizontal line at the fullest part of the thigh above the top edge of the right thigh pocket from folded edge to folded edge. Note: This will generally be between 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 above the pocket and taken from outside folded edge to the center back crotch seam.

G. The ankle is taken at bottom of hem with the slide fastener fully opened.
