About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) located at 363 White House Way, Port Hueneme, California 93043. The NCTC requires six (6) Allison 4700SP_P (4th Generation) Factory ReTran automatic transmissions (Part Number 29572129 or current OEM superseding part) to support advanced Construction Mechanic "C" School training for U.S. Navy Seabee personnel. The transmissions must be factory-certified remanufactured units built to OEM performance standards and include full Allison factory warranty documentation and manufacturer certification of remanufacture and testing.
The contractor must provide all labor, materials, palletization, crating if required, and packaging for transportation. Delivery is destination-based to NCTC Port Hueneme. Instructional durability requirements mandate that all external threaded mounting holes, service access points, and repeatedly used fastener interfaces be reinforced with Keenserts, hardened steel thread inserts, replaceable threaded studs, or equivalent OEM-approved solutions without altering internal components or voiding the Allison factory warranty. The contractor shall pick up six used core charge transmissions on the same day as initial delivery, properly package them, and transport them back to the contractor's location for processing. All transmissions shall include the full Allison Factory ReTran Limited Warranty in effect at time of award, with warranty beginning upon Government acceptance at destination. The contractor shall assist with warranty registration and coordinate any warranty claims. Government inspection and acceptance will occur at destination based on verification of correct part numbers, serial numbers, manufacturer certification, and warranty documentation. Performance shall be completed within the contractor's quoted lead time after contract award.
