About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document providing clarifications on a federal contract solicitation for retreat facility services in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
The document addresses eight substantive inquiries regarding contract performance and proposal requirements. Key clarifications include: prime contractors may use teaming or subcontract arrangements to secure the venue, lodging, food service, and related amenities with Contracting Officer approval; the facility location requirement has been updated to specify "within 1.5 miles of Lake Geneva, WI zip code 53147"; the group bringing materials will provide their own projector; Saturday meal vouchers may be issued as Visa gift cards to provide flexibility; on-site staff must be physically present 24 hours per day within the facility premises to provide customer service and resolve issues; quoters must complete a "Past Performance Information Form" (Attachment II) for each reference submitted; and PWS Section 7 has been deleted from the solicitation. Two identical questions regarding how PWS Section 7 operates alongside small business set-aside subcontracting limitations both received answers noting that PWS Section 7 has been deleted, with one answer initially marked as "Deleted" before the clarification was provided in subsequent Q&A.
