About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity N0018926QL115. The document addresses three inquiries from potential offerors regarding contract requirements and clarifications.

The Q&A addresses general arrangement drawings for three vessels, clarifying that these are available in Amendment 1. It confirms this is a brand-new requirement with no incumbent contractor performing these services. The document also clarifies the scope of work regarding a detection system, addressing a bidder's concern about whether a Consilium system is mandated. The government response directs offerors to the updated Performance Work Statement (PWS) in Amendment 1 for clarification on detection system requirements and deliverables, including survey, engineering, drawings, and bill of materials specifications. All substantive responses reference Amendment 1 as containing the necessary technical documentation and updated requirements.

Questions and Answers to N0018926QL115

Q1: Can you please provide the general arrangement drawings for the 3 vessels?

A1: Please see Amendment 1.

Q2: We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.

A2: This is a brand-new requirement.

Q3: The PWS states to survey, engineer and come up with the drawings for a detection system onboard (with a bill of materials). In the PWS is a material list for using a Consilium system that was sent previously but the PWS does not say it has to be a Consilium system. I just want to make sure we are on the same page with what you want.

A3: Please see the updated PWS in Amendment 1.
