About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for the Centers for Influence Orientation Visit RFQ (N0018925Q0305) for Summer Session July 2025. The Q&A clarifies three key points about property requirements: (1) There is no specific rating criteria, but past contracted properties typically have a 4.0 or higher TripAdvisor traveler rating, and a site visit may be conducted to assess property acceptability. (2) Properties must be located within a 10-15 minute drive of the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis, Maryland, regardless of shuttle services. (3) While the preference is to contract with a single property to host all guests, the government would consider splitting the group between two properties if no single acceptable property can accommodate the entire group.

Centers for Influence Orientation Visit- Summer Session July 2025
RFQ N0018925Q0305
Q & A
1. Please clarify if there is any rating/standard criteria the property needs to meet?
There is not a rating criteria, but we may require a quick site visit to determine acceptability of the property if we have not previously used them for our programs. Past properties that we have contracted with normally have a 4.0 or higher traveler rating on TripAdvisor.
2. If shuttle services are offered in that case will there be relaxation in the 10-minute driving distance limitation?
The property must be located within a 10–15-minutes (depending on local traffic) drive of the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis, Maryland, regardless of the property offering shuttle services to guests beyond that radius.
3. Is there an allowance to split the group across two different properties?
We prefer to contract with (and have all guests staying at) one property but would consider splitting the group between two properties if no single acceptable property is available to host all guests.
