Use/Relationship: The Professional Engineering (PE) Analysis Report provides results of technical studies, and of structural analysis performed. The report is certified and stamped by a professional engineer (PE) and provides assurance to the government that all of the specified requirements have been met.

This data item description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

Requirements:

1. Format. The Professional Engineering Analysis Report shall be in the Contractor’s format.

2. Content. The report shall contain a title page.

2.1 The title page shall specify the following:

a. contract number,

b. delivery order,

c. project name,

d. purchase description title, and

e. task number.

2.2 The report shall contain an ”Introduction” with a brief

description of the analysis performed.

2.3 The report shall contain a “Design Standard” section and

shall identify all government and industry specifications and standards used for design and loading.

2.4 The report shall contain a “Structural Analysis” section and a brief statement of the results obtained from the structural analysis.

2.5 The report shall contain a “Conclusion” of the condensed

technical substantiations.

2.6 The report shall contain “PE Certification” information

specifying the following:

a. PE contact information

b. State registered professional license stamp with expiration date,

c. PE signature and date.
