SENIOR SCIENTIFIC TECHNICAL MANAGER (SSTM) TRAINING SYMPOSIUM

STATEMENT OF WORK

1.0 BACKGROUND

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is hosting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Senior Scientific Technical Manager (SSTM) symposium that will be focused on the intellectual development of senior leadership. The Government requires functional ballroom event space, audio and visual requirements, and private office space.

2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

None

3.0 REQUIREMENTS

3.1 The Contractor shall provide a venue within 0.2 miles of walking distance from the Nauticus and The Battleship Wisconsin located in Norfolk, Virginia. The Venue shall include the availability of a block of rooms each night to allow attendees to stay on-site from 28 April 2024 through 3 May 2024 as follows:

3.1.1 Fifty (50) rooms on 4/28/2024

3.1.2 Eighty (80) rooms on 4/29/2024

3.1.3 Eighty (80) rooms on 4/30/2024

3.1.4 Eighty (80) rooms on 5/01/2024

3.1.5 Eighty (80) rooms on 5/02/2024

3.1.6 Eighty (80) rooms on 5/03/2024

3.2 The Contractor shall provide one (1) ballroom meeting place to accommodate a minimum of eighty (80) and a maximum of one hundred twenty (120) guests beginning on 29 April 2024 through 02 May 2024 from 0700-1800 and on 03 May 2024 from 0700-1200.

3.2.1 The Contractor shall provide crescent round tables that are forward facing toward the stage and provide table linens in the ballroom.

3.2.2 The Contractor shall ensure the ballroom meeting space has appropriate meal space from 29 April 2024 through 02 May 2024 from 0700-1800.

NOTE: Meals will be the responsibility of the attendees.

3.2.3 The Contractor shall ensure the stage is equipped with the following items:

Podium Microphone

Laptop Whiteboard Markers Two (2) Projector Screens Sound System Pipe and Drape

3.3 The Contractor shall provide a training registration space near the ballroom for guests beginning 29 April 2024 through 02 May 2024.

3.4 The Contractor shall provide all-day audio-visual (AV) support from 29 April 2024 through 03 May 2024 at 1200.

3.5 The Contractor shall provide (2) additional spaces to accommodate up to forty (40) people to conduct breakout trainings from 29 April 2024 through 03 May 2024.

3.6 The Contractor shall provide a technical run-through of the material prior to the start of the training event on 29 April 2024.

3.7 The Contractor shall provide the following equipment in the ballroom and event spaces:

Two (2) Projector Screens o Two (2) 16’ X 9’ HD format drop down screen o Two (2) 10,000 lumen WXGA laser projectors

HDMI to fiber connection to system Two (2) Laptops Switcher/Scaler Dual wireless remote 55” monitor Wireless podium microphone Two (2) wireless lavalier microphone Two (2) wireless hand microphone with floor stand Two (2) PC audio adaptor box Sixteen (16) channel mixer Thirty (30) linear feet of black pipe and drape

3.8 The Contractor shall provide three (3) private VIP offices, which include Wi-Fi, a desk, and chairs.

3.9 The Contractor shall provide the set-up and breakdown of the equipment for the conference.

3.10 The Contractor shall coordinate with the technical point of contact identified below.

4.0 GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY/MATERIAL/INFORMATION

(GFP/GFM/GFI)

No GFP/GFM/GFI will be provided.

5.0 TRAVEL

No travel will be required.

6.0 SECURITY

All work to be performed under this contract is unclassified.
