About this file
This document includes a Request for Information and related federal contract opportunity notice for the AN/SPY-6 Radar Hardware Production program. The Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command seeks to award two fixed-price contracts in Q3 FY2021 for the production of AN/SPY-6 radar variants, including the Air and Missile Defense Radar, the AMDR Backfit radar, the Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar Rotator, and the EASR Fixed Face radar. The Leader contractor would receive a higher proportion of work and retain responsibility for maintaining hardware technical data and performing hardware maintenance for fielded units. Interested offerors are requested to provide responses by October 19, 2018 addressing their production capabilities and experience, recommendations for contracting strategies, and any other input relevant to the SPY-6 hardware acquisition. An Industry Day will be held on November 15, 2018 to discuss program requirements in further detail.
