About this file
This request for information from the Department of the Navy seeks industry input regarding the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program Block 3 production and engineering services. Specifically, the Navy is considering a single award contract or splitting the work between a leader and challenger contract for the production of Block 3 hardware from fiscal years 2020 through 2024. The hardware production would utilize build-to-print specifications, with engineering support services required for configuration modifications. Responses are requested by February 15, 2019 to provide feedback on the build-to-print approach, scaled Block 3 and quadrant drawings, and any alternative architecture proposals. The contract types will be fixed-price incentive fee for production and cost-type for engineering support services, with an anticipated award date in the third quarter of fiscal year 2020.
