The document seeks a vendor to provide professional moving and storage services for museum artifacts across five museum locations in Collier County, including the Collier Museum at Government Center, Museum of the Everglades, Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Roberts Ranch, Naples Depot Museum, and Marco Island Historical Museum. The project involves storing approximately 250 square feet of artifacts and a World War II era AT-6 airplane propeller, with services required for transportation and long-term storage. The response submission deadline is September 16, 2024, at 11:00am, and the contract is intended to be a one-time purchase with firm pricing.
The pricing proposal includes two line items: monthly storage cost for 250 square feet of climate-controlled space (12 months) and an hourly rate for moving services. Vendors must meet specific requirements, including using vehicles with air-ride and climate control, having specialized packing materials safe for historical collections, and providing a lift gate for loading. Insurance requirements are detailed, including Workers' Compensation, Employer's Liability, Commercial General Liability, and Automobile Liability, with specific coverage amounts. Vendors must also provide additional documentation such as a Certificate of Insurance with Warehouse Liability, E-Verify Registration, Sunbiz Registration, W-9, and complete a Facility Report.
