About this file
This is a Minimum Requirement Document for a Gantner Data Acquisition (DAQ) System Upgrade required by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/RQVV) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The upgrade will expand the existing DAQ system located in Building 65's Full Scale Structural Facility (FSSTF) to enhance structural validation testing capabilities for aerospace components. The current system is used to monitor critical data streams including temperature, load, displacement, and strain measurements to assess component behavior under operational and extreme conditions.
The contractor must provide specific Gantner hardware components including four Q.raxx XL A136 Bridge Modules (32 channels each), twenty-three Q.raxx XL slimline A116 Bridge Modules (4 channels each), eleven Voltage Measurement Modules, fifty-one Thermocouple Modules, eight Digital Input Modules, eight 19-inch Rack Units, seven Q.raxx Station T Industrial Controllers, two Q.core 201 EtherCAT Industrial Controllers, various serial cables (10 Q.raxx UART cables, 24 Q.series-X UART DBBender cables, and 12 Q.Series-X Slimline UART cables), fifty Current Shunt Blocks, twelve Serial Buss Terminating Resistors, ninety-six blank cover plates, and six Configuration Software Dongles. The document is dated 24 February 2026 and contains specifications for hardware quantities but does not include pricing terms, response dates, or award information.

Minimum Requirement Document
Gantner DAQ System Upgrade
24 February 2026
Scope:
The Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL/RQVV) requires a comprehensive upgrade and expansion of its existing Gantner Data Acquisition (DAQ) system in Building 65’s Full Scale Structural Facility
(FSSTF) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Background:
The Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL/RQVV) structural validation testing relies on advanced Data
Acquisition (DAQ) systems to meticulously monitor aerospace components. These systems are crucial for capturing a comprehensive range of data streams, including temperature, load, displacement, and strain measurements. By analyzing this information, RQVV effectively assesses the behavior of these components under both operational and extreme conditions. This rigorous evaluation process enables
RQVV to validate the structural integrity and performance of critical aerospace technologies, ensuring their reliability and safety.
