About this file

This is an Addendum #1 to a Request for Qualifications issued by the Morgan County Board of Commissioners in Georgia for the evaluation, design, and buildout of a new public safety radio system. The RFQ seeks qualified vendors to partner with Morgan County in developing a UHF/LTE-enabled communication system designed to increase reliability and coverage for public safety operations. The addendum, issued July 29, 2025, clarifies that while the original RFQ specified the MOTOTRBO DMR platform exclusively, Morgan County will now accept proposals from vendors offering alternative manufacturers, provided all proposals fully meet the technical and operational requirements outlined in the original RFQ.

At this time, Morgan County is only soliciting pricing for the evaluation and design phases of the project, with full buildout pricing to be requested at a later stage. The addendum does not specify response dates, due dates, bidders' conferences, site visits, or award dates. No information regarding contract term, renewal options, pricing structures, set-asides, incumbent contractors, or funding sources and amounts is provided in this addendum document.
