About this file
This is a contract terms document for the Maine Military Authority (MMA) outlining the procurement of rebuilt torque converters to support vehicle and equipment refurbishment and maintenance operations under a one-year contract period. The document does not specify item quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, or award dates. The contract term is one year, with provisions allowing the State Purchasing Director to extend the contract period beyond the indicated expiration date with contractor consent.
Bid prices must be submitted on a net F.O.B. destination basis with transportation and delivery charges fully prepaid by the contractor. Prices remain fixed throughout the contract period unless periodic price changes are agreed to in writing. MMA will transmit specific orders via Delivery Order (DO) documents sent by email to the vendor's primary contact, with shipments generally accepted only up to two weeks ahead of stated delivery dates. The State of Maine reserves the right to pay through multiple methods including check, EFT, and procurement card, and state statute prohibits sellers from imposing surcharges on credit or debit card purchases. The State Purchasing Director retains the right to cancel the contract with thirty days' written notice and may modify or cancel orders not delivered as scheduled at MMA's discretion.
