The City of Doral must be named as an additional insured on all policies with contingent and contractual liability, premises and operations liability, and primary insurance clause endorsements required. All coverage must remain in force without interruption for the contract duration, with insurers required to provide 10 days' written notice of cancellation or material changes to the City.

Insurance providers must be authorized to conduct business in Florida and maintain ratings of no less than "A-" for management and "Class V" for financial strength according to AM Best's Insurance Guide. Umbrella or excess liability insurance may be utilized to meet required limits provided coverage is written on a "following form" basis and includes the City as additional insured. Contractors are responsible for ensuring all subcontractors comply with these insurance requirements and must submit Certificates of Insurance to the City's Risk Management department. Certificates must designate City of Doral, Florida at 8401 NW 53rd Terrace, Doral, FL 33166 as the certificate holder. The City reserves the right to review, verify, and reject any insurer due to poor or deteriorating financial condition and may amend insurance requirements to address the scope of services. These requirements represent minimum coverage levels and do not limit contractor liability or represent sufficiency to protect the contractor's interests.
