About this file
This is a minimum insurance requirements exhibit for the City of Doral, Florida vending machines operation and management contract. The document outlines comprehensive insurance coverage mandates that the selected contractor must maintain throughout the contract term. Required coverage includes Commercial General Liability with limits of $2,000,000 per occurrence and policy aggregate, $1,000,000 for personal and advertising injury, and $2,000,000 for products and completed operations. Business Automobile Liability coverage must provide $1,000,000 combined single limit for any auto, including hired and non-owned vehicles. Additionally, contractors must obtain Crime Insurance or Fidelity Bonds covering theft of City monies, securities, or products with minimum limits of $25,000 per employee or incident. Workers' Compensation coverage must comply with Florida statutory requirements, supplemented by Employers' Liability coverage of $1,000,000 for bodily injury by accident, disease per employee, and disease policy limit. The City of Doral must be listed as an additional insured on all policies, and Umbrella or Excess Liability insurance may be utilized to meet required limits provided it remains non-restrictive and follows form.
All insurance carriers must be authorized to conduct business in Florida and maintain ratings of no less than "A-" for management and "Class V" for financial strength according to AM Best's Insurance Guide or equivalent. Certificates of Insurance must be provided to the City without interruption for the contract duration, with insurers required to provide 10 days' written notice of cancellation or material changes. The contractor bears responsibility for ensuring all subcontractors comply with identical insurance requirements. The City reserves the right to review, verify, and reject coverage based on insurer financial condition, and explicitly states that these minimum insurance requirements do not limit contractor liability or represent adequate coverage for the contractor's interests, but serve solely as contractual minimums.
