About this file
This memorandum from the 14th Flying Training Wing at Columbus Air Force Base establishes procedures for safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) for contractors. The document mandates that all contractors must complete DoD mandatory CUI Training from MyLearning before accessing CUI materials, with civilians having the training attached to solicitation postings. Contractors must sign and return the memorandum as acknowledgement of completing training, and they are required to notify the Contracting Officer within 72 hours of any improper CUI disclosure.
The document outlines potential consequences for CUI material mishandling, including possible recourse by the 14 CONS/CC and CAFB Wing Information Protection Office, which may involve retaking CUI training, debarment from the base, or potential contract termination. The procedures apply to prime contractors and subcontractors at all tiers, and compliance is mandatory, with Contracting Officers having the ability to add additional requirements to meet specific contract needs. The memorandum is specifically associated with Solicitation Number FA302225R0004 for a B158 Repair LRS Warehouse Offices project, which involves renovation and construction work valued between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
