About this file

This document contains a metric proposal template and details for a Department of Defense APEX Accelerator open federal grant opportunity. The template outlines seven goals and corresponding metrics to cultivate and sustain the defense industrial base, increase equity and inclusion, improve cybersecurity maturity and awareness, facilitate innovation, strengthen supply chains, and capture data on critical technologies. Key metrics include the number of new and assisted small businesses across various socioeconomic categories, cybersecurity certification and training levels achieved, referrals to government innovation programs and laboratories, and captured data on businesses in emerging fields. The open announcement solicits proposals to support these metrics under the Procurement Technical Assistance federal grant program, with an unspecified application window, performance period from fiscal year 2024, and total available funding amounts TBD.
