About this file
This document is a memorandum from the Arizona Department of Veterans' Services, specifically from the Senior Procurement Officer Christina Jimenez, dated July 6, 2022. The memorandum concerns a solicitation for Pharmaceutical Services involving Pharmacy Corporation of America (doing business as PharMerica) and references the procurement file number BPM004543.
The memorandum addresses a pricing-related solicitation exception that was deemed a "Minor Informality" by the Procurement Unit. Specifically, the issue involved Schedule Two solicitation language that was not modified to exclude a requirement during the solicitation's reissue. As a result, line items were effectively modified to allow pricing submissions for both "name brand" and "generic" pharmaceutical pricing. The Procurement Officer accepted this exception after review and determination that it constituted a minor informality in the procurement process.
