About this file
This document is a letter from Maryland Works, a nonprofit organization focused on employment services, addressed to Kyle O'Donnell, District Financial Officer for District 2, regarding the SHA (State Highway Administration) Easton Facilities Janitorial contract. The letter indicates that Maryland Works will not be pursuing the janitorial contract through their Employment Works Program at the current time, but they remain interested in potentially pursuing the contract when it becomes available again in the future.
The letter demonstrates Maryland Works' commitment to their Employment Works Program, which appears to provide employment opportunities for community service providers. The correspondence is dated May 15, 2025, and includes contact information for Mary Manzoni, the CEO of Maryland Works, located in Columbia, Maryland. The communication suggests an ongoing relationship between Maryland Works and the State Highway Administration, with the potential for future collaboration on contract opportunities that support employment for individuals served by their program.

RE: SHA Easton Facilities Janitorial
Dear Mr O'Donnell, This is to advise you that the above-referenced contract will not be pursued for completion by a Community Service Provider through the Employment Works Program at this time. However, the possibility does exist that we may be interested in pursuing this contract when it becomes available next.
Thank you for your continued support in the Employment Works Program and those we serve. Please contact me if I can be of further assistance.
Regards, Mary Manzoni Mary Manzoni Maryland Works CEO Employment Works Program
