About this file

This is a Schedule of Cleaning document for the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs (DMA) detailing janitorial service requirements at the MATES facility located at 242 East G Street, Fort McCoy. The schedule outlines comprehensive cleaning specifications organized by frequency: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually (October and April), and annually (March or April) tasks. Services encompass the building exterior, entryway and corridors, restrooms and locker rooms, conference rooms, employee break rooms, janitorial storage areas, and building-wide services. Specific room numbers requiring weekly service are identified, including corridor areas, restrooms, shower facilities, and a physical fitness room. The document explicitly identifies areas with no access for military personnel responsible for cleaning, encompassing multiple rooms across sections A through F.

The cleaning specifications include detailed task descriptions for each area and frequency, such as vacuuming and spot cleaning carpet; sweeping, mopping, and spray buffing hard floors; cleaning and disinfecting restroom fixtures; and removing cobwebs and dusting throughout the facility. Critical restrictions prohibit the use of oil-based cleaning products and flammable substances on-site. The schedule notes that certain labor-intensive tasks including carpet shampooing, floor stripping and waxing, and upholstery cleaning must be scheduled in advance with the Buildings and Grounds Superintendent to minimize operational disruption. The document permits spreading quarterly, bi-annual, and annual tasks throughout their respective periods and includes specific operational notes such as maintaining toilet seats in the down position after cleaning and prohibiting classroom chairs on tables or desks at any time.
