About this file

This document is a map of Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) regions in Maryland prepared by the Maryland Department of Planning in March 2004. The map divides the state into four regions—Southern, Eastern, Western, and Central—and delineates county boundaries within each region. The Southern Region includes Baltimore City and Baltimore County; the Eastern Region encompasses Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, and Worcester counties; the Western Region covers Garrett, Allegany, and Washington counties; and the Central Region includes Montgomery, Howard, Frederick, Carroll, Harford, Cecil, Charles, Calvert, St. Mary's, Prince George's, and Anne Arundel counties. This regional framework is utilized for the state contract opportunity KE-000-210-001 (IQC) to replace cell door panels at Housing Units 1-5 at the Maryland Correctional Training Facility under the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.

The map provides geographical context for contract administration and vendor assignment within Maryland's IQC system, establishing defined territories to organize contract opportunities and performance across the state. No additional pricing terms, set-asides, funding information, or contract-specific details are contained within this mapping document.
