About this file
This document is the Mandatory Onsite Visit Guidance for Vendors related to the REBID DHS SP Emergency Battery Bank Maintenance and Inspection FY22-24 contract opportunity issued by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) for Lake County. The guidance outlines requirements for vendors attending the mandatory onsite visit, including temperature checks, health screenings, and the use of face masks and shields. It also states that vendors denied access will be allowed one opportunity to reschedule the visit within the next 2 business days with a different representative.
The contract opportunity seeks a vendor to perform inspections, repair, and maintenance services for the emergency battery bank systems at the Kiley Center in Waukegan, Illinois. The contract term is for fiscal years 2022-2024. The document indicates that the bid due date and time may be adjusted, and vendors should continue to monitor the BidBuy website for updates.

MANDATORY ONSITE VISIT GUIDANCE FOR VENDORS:
1. Vendors must allow adequate time prior to the conference to allow for proper screening of all people coming onto the property.
2. All vendors must follow social distancing guidelines-- Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people and do not gather in groups
3. All vendors will be required to get their temperature taken at the check point, as designated by each Center.
Center Checkpoint is: Administration Building. Vendors with a temperature more than 100.0 degrees will not be admitted.
4. All Vendors will be asked a series of questions about their health. If the vendor displays any symptoms on the checklist, the vendor will not be allowed entry to the Center.
5. All vendors must wear a face mask (KN95) and a face shield, which will be furnished to them upon arrival. Vendors may choose to wear their own mask or face shield. If vendors opt to bring their own, the mask must cover their nose and mouth and fit under their chin; the shield must cover the nose down to the chin. Vendor must wear the face mask and shield while on Center's grounds. Face shields provided by the Center are required to be returned to the checkpoint upon leaving the Center.
In the event vendor is denied access due to any of the above reasons, IDHS will allow vendor one opportunity to reschedule the mandatory conference in the next 2 business days with a different representative. This alternate date will only be made available to vendors who were present at the first vendor conference but not permitted to participate by IDHS.
