About this file

This document is a Project Memorandum from the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) to system vendors regarding a Request for Information (RFI) for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems. The District is seeking information on the availability of modules and functionality, implementation approach, costs, and other details related to replacing its current disparate systems. The RFI covers 14 functional areas including general ledger, project accounting, purchasing, payroll, and human resources. The District has provided key statistics such as budget size, number of employees, and anticipated users to assist vendors in their responses. Responses to the RFI are requested by close of business on September 4, 2024, and all communication is to be handled through the District's consultant, BerryDunn.

The RFI indicates that the information collected will inform the District's future planning process for a new ERP system. Vendors are asked to provide low and high-cost estimates for the software solution, as well as details on their implementation approach and resource requirements. The District notes that the costs presented are for planning purposes only and will not be binding. The RFI also states that responses will remain confidential until a Request for Proposal, Notice of Intent to Award, or Request for Bid is issued to maintain fairness in the procurement process.
