About this file
This file contains delivery and shipping specifications for the Massachusetts WIC Program's Northborough Distribution Center. The specifications establish requirements for vendors supplying products to the state's Women, Infants, and Children program, covering packaging, labeling, pallet configuration, and delivery logistics. Shipments of 10 cartons or fewer weighing 200 lbs. or less should be shipped via FedEx or UPS ground, while all larger orders must be palletized. Individual cartons may not exceed 30 lbs., and all packaging must include specific information such as form number, product description, language designation, and sequential carton numbering. Vendors must provide packing lists attached to cartons and submit advance shipping notices to WICDeliveries@MassMail.State.MA.US with delivery date, carton/pallet count, and purchase order details. Deliveries are accepted Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 35 Lyman Street, Northborough, MA 01532.
All shipments utilize Free on Board (FOB) destination terms with freight pre-paid by the vendor. Palletized loads must conform to Grade A GMA four-way pallet specifications measuring 48 inches long and 40 inches wide, with three stringers, five bottom boards, and seven top boards in good condition, and may not exceed 2,000 lbs. total weight. Carton labels must face outward and be secured with shrink-wrap. Each WIC purchase order requires a separate packing list identifying the ship-to and ship-from addresses, form numbers, quantities, and total carton, pallet, and weight counts. Non-compliance with these specifications will result in product return at the vendor's expense, making adherence to all outlined requirements critical for successful order fulfillment.
