About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) from the Marine Corps Systems Command seeks market research for a Cryptographic Card for the Modular Advanced Radio Architecture (MARA) program under NAICS code 334220. The MARA system is a CMOSS-based radio system utilizing SOSA standards for tactical edge communications, supporting voice and data networks up to Top Secret level for Fleet Marine Force communications personnel (06XX and 28xx occupational fields).
The RFI requests information about available algorithms (including NSA High Assurance and Commercial National Security Algorithms), upgrade capabilities, API support, NSA certification status, SOSA alignment, form factors (preferably 3U VPX), size/weight/power characteristics, pricing, procurement lead times, and bailment availability. Responses are due by February 14 at 1500 EST and should be submitted to Eddie Young and Ashley Northam. The government welcomes responses from both large and small businesses, including various small business categories (8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, etc.). Non-government personnel may assist in reviewing submissions, with appropriate protections for proprietary information.

M67854-25-I-2030 Request For Information (RFI) Modular Advanced Radio Architecture (MARA) Cryptographic Card In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10, the Marine Corps Systems Command is seeking market research from potential sources to satisfy its requirement for a Cryptographic Card for its MARA effort under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334220, of which includes, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The MARA is a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance/Electronic Warfare (C5ISR/EW) Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) based radio system that uses Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) standards to fill in system level specifications that are not covered by CMOSS and the other standards. Primary uses of a MARA radio system will be communications and supporting Command and Control, Fires and other warfighting functions as required by the Fleet Marine Force. Users will primarily be from the 06XX and 28xx occupational fields (communications). · What is the turn-around time for updates to currently supported algorithms?
· Are there plans for additional algorithms? Include limitations such as supported data rates, hardware limitations, etc.
· What is the API support (e.g., Joint Tactical Networking Center (JTNC) Radio Security Service (RSS)(Application Programming Interface (API))
· What is its NSA Certification status?
· Is it Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) aligned?
· What form factors are available?
· While a 3U VPX is preferred, the Government is also interested in other available form factors (e.g., VNX+)
· What are the size, weight and power characteristics? Specifically, what are the weight and power consumption and thermal characteristics for the card.
· What is the price of the proposed card?
· What is the procurement Lead Time?
· Is Bailment of the component available?
