Questions and Answers 28 September 2017

1) “A quick question/observation. On the 20’ steel containers paragraph 3.4: A minimum of 24 metal “D” rings per side shall be fully welded to the bottom side rail. The standard container is supplied with a total of (24) “D” Rings 6 top & 6 bottom (12) per side. There are only so many outward corrugations, you would not be able to fit 24 per side on the bottom rail.”

Answer: ATTCH A DRY FRIEGHT CONTAINER paragraph 3.4 should read: “A minimum of 12 metal “D” rings per side, 6 shall be fully welded to the top side rail and 6 shall be fully welded to the bottom side rail.

2) Does the refrigerated container require 2 sets of fork pockets, is this correct?”

Answer: Yes, two (2) sets of fork pockets

3) Can we break the order up with multiple manufacturers, to meet the high quanity?

Answer: This will be a single award

4) Can we incrementally bill after groups of them are sent and received at Blout Island?

Answer: Yes

5) If the majority of the order is received and for some reason Factory is still in production with the remaining unfilled trailers completed or if they are built but there are delays in transporting, can we ship a minority of them after 180 days?

Answer: Comply with the delivery requirements.
