About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document from a federal contract opportunity distributed to the Department of Defense (DoD) community.

The document addresses industry inquiries regarding delivery schedule requirements for equipment including sleds, tow systems, harnesses, and cargo bags. In response to questions about whether September 25, 2026 was a firm delivery date, the government clarified that the delivery date has been extended to December 1, 2026 due to time constraints between contract award and delivery. The government provided a single answer to both inquiries, indicating that the revised December 1, 2026 delivery date supersedes the original September 25 deadline. The document does not address phased delivery options, as the second question regarding partial delivery in September with remaining items in October was directed to reference the answer provided to the first question, suggesting that all items should be delivered by the new consolidated date.

Questions from Industry

Question Answer Could you please confirm whether

September 25 is a firm required delivery date for technical acceptability, or whether we may provide our earliest available delivery date with our quotation?

Due to time constraints from award to Delivery Date, the Delivery date has been changed from 25 Sept 2026 to 1 Dec 2026.

If September 25 is important for training needs, we may also be able to deliver the sleds, tow systems, and harnesses by September 25, with the cargo bags following as soon as the production run is completed in October. Would a phased delivery like this be acceptable?

Please refer to answer in question 1.
