Amendment of Solicitation Summary

This is a Standard Form 30 (SF 30) Amendment of Solicitation issued by the Commanding General, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. The amendment (M0068126Q00640001, effective 11 August 2026) extends the proposal/quotation due date from 14 August 2026 to 17 August 2026 at 12:30 PM Pacific and provides seven questions and answers addressing industry inquiries regarding the requirement.

The solicitation pertains to hydrostatic testing and certification of 548 compressed air cylinders distributed across three Fire & Emergency Services locations at Camp Pendleton, Miramar, and Barstow. Key clarifications provided include: quoters are responsible for all transportation and shipping logistics with costs included in their quotes on an F.O.B. Destination basis; cylinders must be tested, certified, and returned within a 90-day performance period; quoters must develop and execute their own logistics approach for servicing all three locations; flow testing of harnesses is not included; filling of cylinders after hydrostatic testing is not required; and Cascade cylinder testing is excluded from scope. The requirement emphasizes that each fire department must maintain minimum operational quantities of cylinders on-site at all times to ensure continuous emergency services. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
