About this file
This document contains a series of Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to a Marine Corps Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) contract opportunity. The Q&A covers multiple aspects of the contract, including CSfC capabilities, Registration Authority (RA) responsibilities, ticket volume, and performance expectations. Key details include: the contractor will support only PKI components of CSfC, the PKI Help Desk averages 1,200 tickets per month, and the government requires a minimum of 10 years' experience working with DoD/NSS PKI. The document specifies that on-site work is mandatory with very limited telework opportunities, and personnel must be certified and auditable as USMC DoD/NSS PKI RAs.
The document also includes a prioritization matrix detailing response times for different ticket severity levels, ranging from 10-minute response times for critical (Pri-1) issues to 7-day resolution times for low-priority (Pri-4) issues. Additional contract requirements include two trusted roles for Certificate Authority Operations Management, geographically distributed Local Registration Authorities (LRAs) supported by hosting government facilities, and strict limitations on remote work and system administration activities. The solicitation notes that specific details about contingency operations and "recent" past performance will be defined in the final solicitation document.
