Performance Work Statement (PWS)
Coach Bus Waste Removal and Cleaning Marine Barracks Washington (MBW)
1. Background
The mission of Marine Barracks Washington Motor Transport Division is to maintain vehicle operations for MBW vehicles to support operations.
2. Scope
MBW has a fleet of 8 charter buses that require cleaning and waste removal. MBW needs the following support services: Vehicle exterior cleaning, vehicle interior cleaning, vehicle waste removal.
3. Performance Requirements
3.1. Tasks: The Contractor shall…
3.1.1. Remove all dirt, grime, and stains from all exterior surfaces of the bus to ensure a clean appearance.
3.1.2. Sanitization and cleaning of all interior surfaces of the bus to ensure a clean appearance.
3.1.3. Detailed cleaning, sanitization, and deodorize of all surfaces in the restroom to ensure a clean and sanitized state.
3.1.4. Remove waste from all waste tanks in vehicle to ensure the vehicle restroom is ready for re-use.
3.1.5. Replace water for all water tanks in vehicle to ensure the vehicle restroom is ready for re-use.

4.6. Hours of Operation:
Services must be performed during normal working hours in coordination with the TPOC, 8:00AM – 4:00PM, Monday – Friday, except U.S. Federal Holidays. Visit Federal Holidays (opm.gov) to view the applicable listing of U.S. Federal Holidays.

4.10. Government Facility Access: The Marine Barracks Washington Motor Pool facility is located on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The Contractor shall follow the below instructions to obtain base access prior to performance. Access to base will be found at the JBAB Visitor Center. Driver will be required to have a valid ID in order to gain temporary pass to the instillation.
4.11. Specifications:
• Bus make and model information: 2011 MCI J4500
• The Bus are the following dimensions: 142 In. height, 102 In. width, 45.58 Ft length.
• The buses have a 37.8 Liter lavatory waste retention tank.
• Ensure all areas are dried and ready for immediate use post-cleaning.
• Contractor will be liable for damages that occur to vehicle as a result of service performance.
• Contractor is responsible for disposal of waste in accordance with local and state regulations.
There is no waste facility at the place of performance.
• Motor pool lot where service will be performed is asphalt.
• Contractor will supply all equipment, water, power, and supplies needed to perform service.
• Each cleaning must be completed the day of the service.
