Trainers who support the academy

The Government will provide training ammunition for the students. Ammunition for instructors’ certification at the academy shall be provided by the
Contractor.

Ammunition is not cost-reimbursable. Minimum quantities of rounds to qualify on Marine
Corps course of fire is 50 rounds per instructor for 9 mm and 20 rounds per instructor for 12 gauge shotgun,. These are annual qualifications. Instructor must be qualified on NRA course of fire.
The offeror must determine if additional quantities are need to practice/ qualifications.

The contractor shall provide the administrative, logistical, FLETA support, DHART support and instructor capability in order to support the mission of the MCPA and HQMC training programs. Maintaining one
(1) MCPA.

There is only one Marine Corps
Police Academy (MCPA). The
Task C-4.5 is in support of running and maintaining one academy for the training of police officers located at MCAS Miramar.

The government will provide lodging and food for the students attending the academy. Lodging and food will not be provided to the contractor. Training spacing will be provided by the government. The student material required for the execution of the courses shall be provided by the contractor and shall be mapped to CLIN X0005

No, the contractor shall provide and maintain the vehicles. The government will not obtain ownership of the vehicles.

Support the SELE program by developing and updating the curriculum required for MCPA courses and the Provost Marshal
Offices/Marine Corps Police
Departments law enforcement training needs, to include advanced LE training topics. Examples of these advanced courses include, but are not limited to
Standard Field Sobriety Tests (SFST), Special Reaction Team (SRT), RADAR, LIDAR, etc. The contractor shall provide an up-to-date Course
Catalog of all contractor-provided law enforcement training. The contractor shall provide a monthly law enforcement alert on a topical subject, for promulgation by SELE.
Can the Government advise as to the level of updates that are needed for any/all curriculum associated with the contract?
A curriculum writer and senior curriculum writer are part of the requirement for the update and management of the all courses taught within the academy. All curriculum undergoes an annual revision and review in order to stay current with trends within law enforcement. Additionally, courses that require immediate revision are updated as needed depending upon the needs of the Marine Corps.

Marine Corps Orders and stored in accordance with MCO 5530.14 A and

In order to provide world-class instructors for MCCLEP, please provide anticipated and historical data (3 years) for the number of iterations of each courses listed on page 42 and any additional courses that have been provided.
Each course that is listed as a course of instruction has to be reviewed and revised as needed.
There are courses that will have to be developed depending upon the needs of the Marine Corps and the
DoD. The courses that are listed within the PWS have all been developed over the last 6 years.

MTTs are dependent upon the requirement and the availability of the academy instructor staff. They are part of the 10 mandatory courses that are taught annually by the academy.
