AUDIOVISUAL SITE QUESTIONS ONLY
The following are our questions regarding Solicitation Number M00264-12-R-0023 1Q) What are the expected on-site hours for the technician stationed at the National Museum of the Marine Corps?
1A) The hours are 0800-1630 but must be flexible to accommodate the mission.
2Q) What are the expected on-site hours for the technician stationed at the Marine Corps Information Operations Command?
2A) The hours are 0800-1630 but must be flexible to accommodate the mission.
3Q) Who will be supplying the audio/visual gear for special events located at the National Museum of the Marine Corps?
3A) The Museum supplies all audio/visual gear for any special event located at the Museum.
4Q) Does the ODC include consumables?
4A) Yes, the ODC does include consumables.
5Q) Does the ODC include repairs to equipment performed by the manufacturer?
5A) Yes, but on a case-by-case basis only.
6Q) What happens if the ODC allotment of $361,000 is expended prior to the end of the fiscal year?
6A) With proper management and oversight, the ODC allotment will not all be expended.
7Q) Is there a requirement for a full time engineer position on-site or can engineering be supported from the corporate office?
7A) The engineering can be supported from the corporate office, but must be available when required.
8Q) Is there a requirement for a full time AMX/Crestron programmer on-site or can programming be supported from the corporate office?
8A) The AMX/Crestron programmer can be supported from the corporate office, but must be available when required.
9Q) If a BPA holder wins this contract, does it preclude them from bidding on other contracts at Quantico Marine Corps Base?
9A) The BPA holder will not be restricted from bidding on other contracts at Quantico Marine Corps Base.
10Q) May we be supplied with the list of contractors who attended the required site visit this past Wednesday, 9/5/2012?
10A) No, The government cannot provide a list of contractors that attended the site visit.
11Q) Since we are relying on other government agencies to supply information in order to complete the past performances questionnaire portion of the bid, are we to assume that this portion is not due by the 9/13/2012 9:00 AM submission date?
11A) The past performance questionnaires due date and time will not be extended.
12Q) Is it possible for you to breakdown the amounts of the different types of AV rooms on the base? ( xx amt. of auditoriums, xx amt. of classrooms, xx amt. of conference rooms) 12A) There are four (4) auditoriums and over 200 rooms/classrooms.
13Q) What will be the normal work hours for the permanent employee required for the museum?
13A) The hours are 0800-1630 but must be flexible to accommodate the mission.
14Q) What will be the normal work hours for employee required for the MCIOC?
14A) The hours are 0800-1630 but must be flexible to accommodate the mission.
