About this file

This document is a Standard Form 30 (SF 30) Amendment to a solicitation issued by Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) located at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina. Amendment 0001, effective June 4, 2026, incorporates an updated Statement of Work (SOW) dated June 3, 2026, for data/telecom drop testing and assessment services at the USMC Marsh Building in Quantico, Virginia.

The SOW requires a qualified contractor to conduct comprehensive on-site assessment and testing of approximately 870 CAT6 data/telecom drop ports throughout the facility, with work focused on the second floor. The contractor must test all ports end-to-end (rack to jack) to determine operational status, identify deficiencies including non-functioning ports, cable faults, physical damage, improper terminations, and labeling discrepancies, and verify connectivity and proper cable termination. All testing must be certified to ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and related TIA/EIA standards for Category 6 cabling. Deliverables include an Initial Assessment Report in electronic PDF format due within ten business days of testing completion, containing certified test results, pass/fail status, total ports tested, location of deficient ports, count of operational and non-operational ports, detailed deficiency descriptions, and a detailed scope of recommended repairs with budgetary cost estimates. The period of performance begins upon award with on-site testing to be completed within a mutually agreed timeframe. Contractor personnel must coordinate access with MCRC representatives, comply with Quantico VA installation access requirements, and maintain appropriate identification and base security procedures. The contracting officer is Dedriene Green, and the solicitation number is M0026326QR014.
