About this file
This document is a modification to a solicitation for a washer and dryer lease at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. The modification provides responses to questions from potential offerors. It specifies that the lease requires commercial washers and dryers with capacities of 16-18 pounds and 7 cubic feet for buildings across the base, including barracks, headquarters, schools and other facilities. Installation is required to begin in January and be completed by July 2024 at the latest. The modification establishes response times for repairs of two business days and allows staging of equipment and limited storage on base. It also provides usage and repair histories from the incumbent contractor.
