About this file
This is a plans document for the Legion Hall Road Drainage Paving Project, a Commonwealth of Virginia infrastructure improvement initiative located at 1077 Legion Hall Road in Grundy, Buchanan County, Virginia. The project encompasses the reclamation of an abandoned mine portal, removal of stream clogging, and restoration of clogged stream land along Legion Hall Road. The scope of work addresses drainage and paving improvements to enhance roadway conditions and resolve environmental concerns related to mining activity and water flow obstruction in the project area.
The plans document provides technical specifications and design details necessary for bidders to understand the project requirements and prepare competitive proposals. Key project components include site surveying, mine portal stabilization or reclamation work, stream clearing and restoration, and associated paving operations. Contractors should reference the signed plans for precise engineering specifications, material requirements, and construction methodologies required for successful project completion.
