About this file
This document is an Industry Day announcement for NASA Langley Research Center's "Ignition" real estate development initiative. The event is scheduled for September 22, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, with RSVP deadline of September 14, 2026.
NASA Langley is offering over 325 acres of federally owned land for lease, including 27 buildings spanning more than 145,000 square feet, located behind the federal security perimeter with direct proximity to world-class aerospace capabilities. The initiative aims to establish an Aerospace Innovation District to advance national priorities in aeronautics, space exploration, science, autonomous systems, and emerging aerospace markets. The property includes undeveloped urban land with access to utilities and potential for security perimeter adjustments.
