About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the City of Meriden, Connecticut, for PC imaging and deployment services. The City seeks qualified vendors to assist with imaging and deploying 400 end-user PC devices, creating multiple standard and specialized images, implementing the NinjaOne remote management tool, and configuring Group Policies across all devices. The project scope includes PC deployment support across various City locations, troubleshooting during the deployment phase, and onsite support. A key requirement is that the awarded vendor must provide an onsite staff member for three months, working 40 hours per week, with the possibility of additional services as project priorities evolve. The RFP does not specify response deadlines, site visit dates, bidder conferences, or award dates in the provided documentation.
Vendors must demonstrate extensive experience with large-scale PC imaging and deployment (400+ devices), proficiency with imaging tools such as PDQ Deploy or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, expertise with NinjaOne or equivalent remote management solutions, and strong Group Policy management capabilities. Cost proposals must include detailed breakdowns of imaging and deployment fees, remote management tool implementation costs, hourly rates for onsite support staff, and any travel or incidental expenses. The evaluation criteria prioritize technical approach and solution fit, vendor experience and staff qualifications, cost effectiveness, and project timeline management. The RFP requires vendors to submit an executive summary, detailed work plan with timeline and milestones, technical approach documentation, qualification references from similar municipal projects, comprehensive cost proposal, and staffing plan identifying key personnel and their qualifications.
