About this file

This is an analytical laboratory report submitted by FOH Environmental Laboratory to the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Federal Occupational Health (FOH) program at the Denver Federal Center. The report documents environmental wipe sampling and analysis conducted at the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Lansing, Michigan USPFO Annex facility. The project involved testing six ghost wipe samples for lead, cadmium, and chromium contamination using OSHA ID-121 methodology. Samples were received on April 9, 2013, analyzed between April 12-15, 2013, and the report was issued on April 19, 2013. The analysis was performed using hot plate digestion followed by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry on a Perkin Elmer 200 instrument, with all quality control criteria reported as met.

The laboratory results are presented in tabular format with sample identification numbers, corresponding laboratory numbers (TM-13-60533 through TM-13-60538), and concentration measurements expressed in micrograms and micrograms per square foot. The report indicates that all samples were received in acceptable condition for analysis and that results have not been corrected for contamination based on field blanks or analytical blanks unless otherwise noted. The analytical findings relate only to the items tested, with FOH Environmental Laboratory providing contact information for inquiries regarding the results.
