The Contractor will begin the Work within ten (10) days of the receipt of the Authority’s written Notice to Proceed, unless the Notice to Proceed specifies a later commencement date, and will prosecute the Work without interruption, so that it will be entirely completed and ready for final payment within 90 calendar days from the commencement date established in the Notice to Proceed (the "Contract Time"), unless the Contract Time is extended in writing by the Authority.

D. Liquidated Damages for Delay

2. The Authority shall deduct any amounts owing to the Authority as liquidated damages

000520-3 from any unpaid balance of the Contract Price, and the Contractor shall pay to the

Authority, upon demand, any amount for liquidated damages which exceeds the unpaid balance of the Contract Price.

3. This paragraph D is intended to supplement (and not to restrict) all other rights and remedies of the Authority under the Contract, which rights and remedies are cumulative and not exclusive. This Article is not intended, and shall not be construed, to limit the

The acceptance by the Contractor of the final payment shall be and shall operate as a complete release of the Authority from all claims and of all liability to the Contractor for all things done or furnished in connection with or arising out of the Work and for every act or omission of the Authority and others relating to or arising out of the Work.
