In the event of contractor default, the surety is liable for the penal sum specified in the bond, and the County may recover additional costs, expenses, and reasonable attorney's fees if enforcement action becomes necessary. The form requires approval signatures from both the County's Risk Management office and County Counsel. The bond relates to the County of Orange's procurement for Pressure Washers – Diesel through its OC Waste & Recycling division, with bids submitted exclusively through the County's electronic eProcurement Portal.
